  • Responsibilities

    Overview: Maintenance Technicians should have general handyman and customer service experience within all levels for residential maintenance assignments. This position will report to the Supervising Tech and/or the owner.

    Education/Skills: • At least two years of experience in general maintenance. • Experience plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance maintenance as a plus. • Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance at the time of hire.

    Responsibilities: • Complete service requests in a timely manner. • Perform routine maintenance as assigned. • Maintain material and supply inventory. • Effectively communicate with residents. • Send accurate reporting notes to management to document time spent, work performed and the work order details. • Drive to various assigned worksites.

    Requirements: • Basic knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.) • An eye for detail • Computer savvy • Maintain a valid drivers license and insurance at all times • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • High school diploma preferred: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus • Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

    Working Conditions:

    All technicians and supervising staff will work at various sites. This may result in conditions varying between indoors and outdoors. Certain precautions will be taken to avoid risks of heat illness.

    Employees in this role will be required to drive their own vehicles. Proof of insurance and unexpired licensing will be required by management.

    Tools:

    Employees will be required to utilize their own hand tools and small ladder for most jobs. If a job requires specialty tools, the company will provide them.
