    LVN or RN as Nurse Assistant Training Instructor also known as a CNA Instructor will be teaching individuals the skills and knowledge needed to become a CNA and to pass the California CNA State Test.

    Los Angeles Skills Academy: is an official provider of the American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Training Program. We combine traditional classroom learning with modern technologies. Our programs are efficient and effective and our students graduate satisfied and inspired. We are approved by the California Dept of Health for traditional learning and online learning.

    Open Positions:

    Monday-Friday (Clinical only)

    7am-3:30pm

    The location will be around Santa Barbara and surrounding areas.

    Pay: $31.00-$35.00/hr DOE

    Job Summary:

    Provides instruction in Los Angeles Skills Academy Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) program; primary responsibility includes planning, teaching and evaluating course participants in the classroom and clinical skills performance, leading to successful completion of the program. The instructor will provide a quality program that meets state regulations and compliance standards as well as meet the expectations for the course participants.

    Qualifications:

    Current license as a nurse in state where teaching will occur; RN/BSN preferred. LPN/LVN may be accepted if allowed by state.

    Two years’ experience as a nurse with at least one year’s experience working in a long term care facility or experience working with elderly or chronically ill. (hospital/ hospice/ nursing home/ assisted living experience are qualified)

    Adult education experience preferred or DSD Certificate

    Must meet state minimum nursing and teaching experience requirements for instructors
