Losey PLLC seeks a full-time and onsite paralegal to join our office in Orlando, Florida. Our firm represents businesses in a variety of matters, and our practice areas are listed on our website (www.losey.law). They include litigation, business counseling, commercial real estate, commercial transactions, cybersecurity, privacy, financial services law, health care law, intellectual property, Internet-related matters, and workplace law.
Responsibilities will generally include providing administrative and logistical support in a law office setting. The position will assist with document preparation, electronic filings, managing case deadlines, general research, and communicating with clients.

Candidates should have at least an associate’s degree or paralegal certificate, and at least one to two years’ experience working in a law firm setting.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Provide administrative assistance to legal staff in a law office.
· Prepare and file basic litigation documents, such as hearing notices, scheduling orders, etc.
· Document review and analysis.
· Manage schedules, including trial dates and hearings.
· Coordinate meetings, teleconference, and video conferences.
· Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and other vendors to obtain and exchange information and documentation related to legal matters.
· Assess the urgency of situations and determine appropriate actions, monitor status of pending item, provide follow up and keep management informed by communicating a wide variety of information.
· Prepare legal correspondence, memoranda, and presentations.
· Maintain legal management systems.
· Conduct online research.
· Train attorneys and support staff in the use of all office systems, including case management system, filing protocols, and docket/diary procedures.
· Utilize case management system for electronic data management of legal files and creation of management reports.
· Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors used by the firm.
