JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Registered Nurse with current Illinois license
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in clinical area, computer science, informatics, information system or a related field
- 5 years of clinical, healthcare system implement and /or experience progressively responsible positions preferred.
- Experience in assisting with the implement of clinical and ancillary systems preferred.
- Experience with clinical process automation, standardization, and implementation preferred.
JOB DUTIES

- Assists with developing policies and procedures to support new workflow processes.*
- Conducts and facilitate meetings and presentations effectively and professionally. *
- Develops curriculum*.
- Provides education.*
- Supports development of expert user.*
- Leads project activities and tasks focused on standards, implementation, and education of patient care processes, nomenclature, and tools.*
- Assists with the analysis and documentation of current state workflow and future state workflow.*
- Assists with defining user requirements in the design of the future state workflows to optimize the functionality of clinical applications.*
- Works with hospital leadership and staff to manage, monitor and audit the future state.
- Participate in developing monitoring, and evaluation technology and decision support (barcode point of care, alerts, order, order sets, etc.) for continual improvement
