    To be successful in this role, you will be proficient in the provision and coordination of patient centered care. Registered nurses (RNs) assess and evaluate patient conditions, and then plan, implement, provide, and document patient care in a manner that follows professional nursing standards and outlined practices.

    Job Requirements:

    · Current Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty

    Required to be on-call

    • accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by ARRT. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the IL Emergency Management Agency required in combination with Radiologic Tech registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

    · BLS and ACLS from AHA

    · Current experience in Cardiac Cath Laboratory procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients

    • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
    • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
    • Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
    • Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
    • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
    • Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as Cardiac Cath Angiogram, Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angiograms with Interventions. Pacemaker placement, along with assisting the Interventional Cardiologist.
    • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    • One or more of the following:
      • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty

    accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by ARRT. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the IL Emergency Management Agency required in combination with Radiologic Tech registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

    • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

    Education:

    • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, Associate degree, or Technical degree required.
