    Job Description

    This position is responsible to modelling data, run analysis, regressions and understand the demand dynamics in US and Mexico to provide information to integrate the global balance sheets for all LDC portfolio and guarantee the data driven decision-making.

    Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

    • Model of Juice Consumption and run Long Term forecast in the region and support the Global analysis.
    • Correlation analysis through Apple, Orange, Lime and Lemon Juices S&D and Main Players in North America.
    • Analysis of trading data such as stocks/use net, supply and demand balance, trade flow and identify significant correlations between balance sheet movements flat prices and spreads in physical and futures markets to give a recommendation positions.
    • Create reports and dashboards showing historical trends and market dynamics on demand side.

    • Deep-dive through the data modeling developing models to forecast the demand and consumption trends on long term.
    • Deep-dive through the variables that could influence the futures price to develop and/or improve the medium and long term models.
    • Understanding of in/out trade flow of orange juice in North America.
    • Contribute to the preparation of various dashboards and analytics reports in Power-BI.
    • Integrate and participate actively in Juice Research activities as well as on cross platforms in the region.
    • Estimate S&D in US and Mexico through the crop tour, visits, events, and information from the market.

    Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma.
    • Valid Driver’s License.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, economy or correlated areas.

    Experience

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum: 2 years of experience in the Data Analytics.
    • Minimum: 2 years of proficiency in Excel and Power Point.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Databricks, Phyton and Power BI advanced.
    • Previous experience in Market intelligence in Agricultural Commodities.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities ** (including any physical demands)**

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical capability.
    • Ability to organize multiple responsibilities, prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience data modeling, econometric and trading research.
    • Experience in the beverage/juice industry.

    Working Conditions

    • Extensions of regular working hours are occasionally necessary to complete time-sensitive projects or to respond to emergencies.
    • Business trips are required eventually to do a crop tour in the orchards or participation in events.
