POSITION INFORMATION: This position is perfect for a skilled therapist who loves working relationally with adults and couples and is looking for a long-term home at a professional private pay group practice. All hired therapists here participate in a 6-month training educational period in addition to seeing clients; this includes 5 hours a week of paid advanced training to further their skills as a therapist. Pay Benefits: • Pay starts at $80+ per clinical appointment dependent on experience, plus hourly pay for training, staff meetings, and other assigned responsibilities. • Paid training in Gottman Couples Therapy, EFT, Sex Therapy, LGBTQ Affirmative Care, Anti-Racism, and more. • Sick leave and PTO. • 401k with 3% employer contributions. • Healthcare (Medical and Dental) for full-time therapists averaging 24 clinical appointments a week. • All marketing and business oversight is done for you and caseload grows quickly. Pay information: Since therapists are paid dependent on how many sessions they have a week, pay varies depending on your income goals. Fees are set at a minimum of $170 per appointment. You may see 15-28 clients a week depending on your needs. You must see 24 sessions a week to be considered full-time. Full Time: $100,000-$140,000 yearly Part Time: $63,000-$99,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Conduct high-quality relational psychotherapy for 15-28 hours a week. • Complete 120 paid hours of clinical training. • Provide a high level of customer service and client care to all prospect & current clients, colleagues, and our community. • Follow all business procedures and policies. Practice strong attention to detail in administrative duties and client/colleague communication. • Conduct self professionally in all work interactions. • Attend staff meetings, training and retreats (some are optional, some mandated). Mandatory Time/Day commitment: Commitment is a minimum of 15 client hours for part time and 24 client hours for full time, 12 clinical hours must be in prime client times (evening or weekends). Your clients describe you as warm and deeply empathic. You practice good boundaries with clients and colleagues. • Be extremely organized, responsible, and tech-friendly. • Be no stranger to the client experience in therapy. You’ve connected to your own therapeutic/healing work, and continue to self-monitor, seek support and practice good self-care. • Have a current State of CA BBS registration as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist • Be experienced in providing counseling services to adults and/or couples. • We are a hybrid in-person/telehealth practice and we all have varying schedules. While we support regular consultation and offer a friendly work environment, the majority of your time as a therapist will be spent working independently. • We are looking for therapists who want to work in a group setting for the long term.
