We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our prestigious fine dining restaurant, Gemelle. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that define our establishment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to operational standards.
Ensure guests receive outstanding service and hospitality, handling guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Supervise and train front-of-house staff, ensuring they adhere to service standards, maintain professionalism, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Support the General Manager in managing financial aspects of the restaurant, including monitoring costs, expenses, and revenue generation.
Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in training and motivating staff to create a cohesive team environment focused on delivering excellence.
Perform administrative duties such as payroll processing, scheduling, and maintain records as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a fine dining restaurant or upscale hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, front-of-house procedures, and customer service best practices.
Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Food Managers and TABC is required.
