The Role

As we grow our company, the need for fresh, high quality, and effective creatives continues to increase. Lovevery is looking for a contract Photo Retoucher to play a role in driving the look, feel, and execution of our product and marketing photography. The ideal candidate for this role will be well-versed in both studio and lifestyle retouching. The Photo Retoucher will work with Lovevery's creative team to push our brand and deliver beautiful visual content for all channels.

This is a 4 month contract role with a potential to go full time.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of and experience with retouching and editing digital images for use in web and print
• Deliver all image related content in a timely and organized manner
• Work with freelance retouchers to ensure proper hand off and review of delegated work
• Adhere to editing and retouching practices of the Lovevery brand
• Execute a strong understanding of color and light correction, skin retouching/ high frequency separation, compositing, image masking, and batch processing
• Work with production team and Digital Asset Coordinator to assist in naming and organization of files
• Collaborate with team members to ensure images and design come together to create the best representation of our brand
• Maintain high creative standards

About You

• 4-year BA / BFA Degree in Photography or similar field
• Has 4+ years of professional retouching experience working in e-commerce or at start-ups (in-house or agency a plus)
• A compelling portfolio showcasing examples of applicable work experience
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Process and take action on creative feedback
• Highly collaborative
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to pivot and reprioritize tasks as needed
• Responsible by nature
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One (experience with Asana a plus)

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the hourly range for this position is $30-$50/hour. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
