Job Description: As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intercom systems, and fire alarm systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology while contributing to the safety and security of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, program, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, intercom systems, and fire alarm systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security systems.
Diagnose and repair technical issues with security equipment and systems.
Work closely with project managers, clients, and other technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of installations and service calls.
Ensure all systems meet industry standards and local codes.
Provide on-site training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician, preferably in the security industry.
Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, intercom systems, and fire alarm systems.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with local, state, and national codes for low voltage systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
