    Position: Low Voltage Technician

    We have an immediate opening for a forward-thinking, innovative Access Control / Security Technician who is eager to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have experience working on low-voltage systems such as access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and alarm systems.

    What We Offer:

    $22-$35 per hour based on experience (Full-Time)

    Day Shift: Monday - Friday

    Responsibilities:

    Install, manage, and improve security systems including access control, video surveillance, security cameras, and audio/video intercom systems

    Test installed equipment, provide basic programming/setup, and customer training

    Perform preventive maintenance and repair as per client maintenance agreements and/or warranties

    Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems and equipment

    Respond professionally to phone, email, voicemail, and written work orders

    Issue and track work orders, working closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution of service issues

    Update and document the status of all work performed

    Operate safely and adhere to OSHA Safety Standards

    Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial low-voltage maintenance and ability to pass skill assessments

    Experience installing cabling, including conduit installation

    High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school or internship completion preferred

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Ability to maintain insurability

    Proficiency with computers, laptops, and smartphones

    Attention to detail and strong organizational/time management skills

    Ability to work independently and resolve issues

    Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, vendors, and coworkers

    Ability to balance multiple ongoing projects and anticipate needs

    Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, blueprints, and floorplans

    Professional attitude and demeanor, demonstrated through prompt follow-through, attendance, organizational value adherence, and confidentiality

    Physical Demands:

    Frequent sitting, standing, climbing, and lifting (regularly 50 pounds and at times up to 100 pounds)

    Operating various machinery

    Work performed both indoors and outdoors
