We’re looking for an experienced auto lube technician who is ready to give our service customers an excellent experience. You must be able to rotate tires, change light bulbs, change oil and other fluids, and perform other general maintenance duties to be successful in this position. Although not required for this role, having knowledge of the inner workings of various car models is helpful. We prefer that you have prior experience working as an automotive or lube technician. Responsibilities: • Offer suggestions to consumers for additional services based on mileage and vehicle history • Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids • Clean the shop floor and all work areas, and ensure all safety regulations are followed • Keep detailed records of all repairs made and components replaced • Oil and lube the chassis's component parts, and measure the tread depth and tire pressure Qualifications: • This position requires excellent customer service skills • 1+ years of experience as a lube technician or related automotive experience desired • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) • Must be capable of safely using tools, car lifts, and other garage equipment • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds (or more) is required Compensation: 20 - 30 hourly
