Luth Research, LLC is seeking Market Research Consultants in the Dallas Fort Worth area to join our team. The Market Research Consultant is responsible for on-site gathering of data on consumer travel at the DFW Airport.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• On-site Interviewing/administering surveys at DFW Airport to research participants, in various airport locations.
• Learn and understand proper survey intercepts techniques to administer surveys in a uniform, non-bias manner.
• Must be professional, well groomed, and confident in appearance at all times.
• Must be polite, professional, friendly, and patient personality to always handle interviewing.
• Must be able to collect all research data in an accurate and efficient manner. All questions must be read and recorded verbatim, no abbreviating, no skipping questions, and no assuming answers.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and be willing to talk to strangers in a public setting clearly and professionally.
• Must be able to tactfully deal with rejection and not let it affect work performance / self-esteem.
• Previous experience working in research and performing observations a plus
• Previous experience conducting interviews
• Familiarity working with a tablet and survey apps in the same interview.
• Any other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
• Pay is $18 - $18/hour.
• Fluent in Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese is a plus.

Accessibility: Must be able to access and function within areas key to productivity. Adequate manual dexterity to operate assigned and shared office equipment. Ability to travel on periodic overnight and extended stays and work extended hours when necessary.

Communications: Must speak clearly and fluently to communicate on a wide range of topics. Above average reading comprehension, and grammatically correct written communication skills.

Technical: Must demonstrate a proficiency in understanding and working with basic software and computer skills, to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Judgment: Comprehension of job requirements and procedures. Can initiate and perform work assignments under minimal supervision that may be broad, varied, and complex in nature. Employee must have the ability to use educated and intuitive judgment to make decisions.

Flexibility: Must be able to work in a shifting environment with ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Analysis: Mathematical aptitude; use of numeric calculations for accuracy of reports and tasks.

Organization: Organizational and time management skills sufficient to plan and accomplish assigned goals.

Logic: Deductive reasoning ability to enable the appropriate application of general concepts to specific situations.

Work Ethics: Must be willing to work hard, be dependable and responsible, possess a positive attitude and maintain a sense of honesty and integrity.

Qualifications

**Education, Experience & Skills **

Education :

• BS Degree or equivalent work-related experience.

Specific Job Experience and Skills:

• At least 6 months of interviewing and/or fieldwork is preferred but not required.

Shift Availability:

• Flexible schedule with the ability to work a mix of weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
