Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and energetic Vacation Rental Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will take pride in ensuring that guests enjoy a spotless, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing rental units before guest arrivals, conducting mid-stay cleans (if required), and performing thorough post-checkout cleaning. In addition we provide cleaning service to residential clients within the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas, experience in residential cleaning is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Arrival and Post-Departure Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize all areas of the vacation rental, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, kitchens, and common areas.
Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries.
Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, appliances, and dining areas.
Vacuum and mop floors, dust surfaces, and wipe down windows and mirrors.
Ensure all supplies (e.g., cleaning products, toiletries, linens) are replenished as needed.
Maintenance of Cleanliness and Presentation:
Ensure the property is always guest-ready by performing routine cleaning and touch-ups between stays.
Ensure that all furniture, appliances, and amenities are in proper working condition.
Report any damages or maintenance issues to the Property Manager or Owner immediately.
Laundry Management:
Wash, dry, fold, and store linens, towels, and any other laundry related to guest stays.
Organize linens and stock cleaning supplies.
Guest-Ready Amenities: Prepare properties with essential guest amenities such as toiletries, coffee supplies, and other items based on property standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and use of cleaning equipment.
Ensure compliance with property-specific cleaning guidelines or hospitality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in vacation rental, hotel, or hospitality settings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Reliable and punctual with excellent work ethic.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
