The Role: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) We’re looking for an LVN who is excited to join our close-knit family and help our patients achieve their health and weight loss goals. This position is available for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in our Rancho Cucamonga clinic, and Tuesday and Wednesday in our Hesperia location. Whether you want part-time or full-time between both offices, we’d LOVE to see if you’re the perfect fit! Responsibilities: Patient Care: • Administer injections such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Lipo C, Lipo B, B Complex, HCG, and other prescribed medications. • Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, weight, and health history. • Provide patient education on medications, diet, and lifestyle changes. • Assist Nurse Practitioners and Medical Directors with patient evaluations and follow-up appointments. Clinical Support: • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked. • Perform routine lab tests and manage lab results. • Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in the EHR system. • Support the Medical Assistants with patient flow and administrative tasks as needed. Program Support: • Assist in developing and implementing weight loss protocols and patient care plans. • Monitor patient progress and provide motivation and encouragement to support adherence to the program. • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic processes. Compliance and Safety: • Ensure all treatments and procedures are conducted in compliance with state and federal regulations. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Communication and Coordination: • Serve as a liaison between patients, coaches, and medical staff to ensure seamless care. • Communicate effectively with patients about their treatment plan, progress, and any necessary adjustments. Qualifications: Licensing and Certification: • Must hold a valid LVN license in the state of California. • Current CPR/BLS certification. Experience: • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic or weight loss setting. • Experience with administering injections and medications. Skills: • Strong knowledge of patient care and nursing protocols. • Proficiency in drawing up and administering medications, including injections. • Ability to work with electronic health records (EHR) systems; familiarity with DrChrono is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to educate and support patients throughout their weight loss journey. Compensation: $29 - $34 hourly
