    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION Lynch Creek Farm is a family-owned, local, online, holiday gift-giving company that sells beautiful evergreen gifts including fresh hand-made wreaths, centerpieces, as well as other home decor items. We are a fast-paced seasonal company filled with friendly, hard-working people.

    WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON (OCTOBER THROUGH DECEMBER) IN SHELTON. ALL POSITIONS WILL BE LOCATED IN-PERSON IN OUR SHELTON OFFICES.

    • Customer Support Agents - these staff members assist our customers via phone, email, and live chat. They answer questions about our products, help place orders, provide order and shipping information, and perform other customer service related tasks.
    • Corporate Gifting Agents - these staff members assist our Corporate Gifting clients via phone and email. They answer questions about the Corporate Gifting Program and help clients place their orders. These agents work with the same assigned clients throughout their entire order process. The work involves great attention to detail and project management skills.
    • Order Logistics Specialists - these staff members review, format, and upload large order spreadsheets into our order fulfillment systems. A great deal of attention to detail is required. These agents do not directly interact with our customers.

    Please let us know if you have experience in project management, customer service, and/or working with spreadsheets. Although these skills are not required, they would be very helpful. Our hiring team will determine which position is best suited for you, and we will discuss your skills further during the interview process.

    THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE NEEDED FOR THESE POSITIONS:

    • Ability to work in a faced-paced environment. You will be working with other team members to reply to a very large volume of phone calls, emails, and live chats.
    • Ability to follow very specific instructions for assisting our customers and with procedures for orders, checking shipments, addressing product problems, and other customer service related tasks.
    • Dependability and a commitment to showing up on time and working your full shift through the season. It is very important that once hired, you commit to the agreed-upon schedule for the duration of the season.
    • Strong computer proficiency, being comfortable using a computer with two monitors and possessing the ability to navigate several software systems at the same time. Experience with various computer programs, preferably Google Suite or similar programs.

    We will provide extensive training in our processes and software systems so that you’ll be prepared to assist our customers. At Lynch Creek Farm, we work closely as a team and believe strongly in supporting all of our staff to create a fun, positive workplace. Every one of our team members is important, and we all work together to handmake, package, and ship our customers the high-quality evergreen products that we are so proud to make. These are fast-paced positions, and you will be supported throughout the season. Our Customer Service and Corporate team members are a vital part of making our season successful! While we rely on these teams to work hard to assist our customers, we will have a lot of fun, too.

    ALL POSITIONS WILL BE LOCATED ON SITE IN OUR SHELTON OFFICES.

    Salary: $17.00 to $20.00/hour plus a season-end pay bonus. EMPLOYEES THAT WORK FULL-TIME (OVER 30 HOURS A WEEK) WILL RECEIVE A $1000 BONUS AT THE END OF THE SEASON. EMPLOYEES THAT WORK PART-TIME (FEWER THAN 30 HOURS A WEEK) WILL RECEIVE A $500-$700 BONUS AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
