They are currently seeking a talented M&A (Transaction Advisory) Senior Associate to join their growing team.
Overview:
As an M&A Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex financial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing financial due diligence and strategic insights to support critical business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including quality of earnings analysis, working capital assessments, and identification of potential deal risks.
- Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables, including financial models, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, valuation, and audit professionals, to provide holistic transaction support.
- Participate in client meetings and communicate findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the M&A landscape.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for service expansion and contributing to proposals and pitches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CFA, or related certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or related field within a public accounting or consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
