    Position Overview:
    Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing Transaction Advisory Group. This leadership role is ideal for an individual with a CPA certification and more than five years of public accounting expertise. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with team members, provide exceptional client service, and help drive the success of their team and firm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns across multiple categories, including corporations, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
    • Take ownership of engagements, including managing timelines, coordinating resources, maintaining client communication, and ensuring timely delivery.
    • Provide insightful tax planning and research for intricate issues, offering tailored advice to clients and identifying optimal solutions.
    • Lead special projects, mentor junior team members, and guide associates and senior associates in their development.
    • Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.
    • Actively participate in business development by identifying opportunities with existing clients and supporting efforts to attract new ones.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 5+ years of public accounting experience.
    • CPA certification required.
    • Expertise in researching and communicating complex tax matters to clients.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor staff and collaborate effectively with clients.
    • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
