    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the optimal performance and safety of our vehicles.

    As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overall condition of our fleet of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and meet all regulatory standards. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, and collaborating with other team members to achieve operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the fleet, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and other necessary services.
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure the fleet's optimal performance.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Conduct thorough diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify and address malfunctions.
    • Analyze complex vehicle systems and implement effective solutions.

    Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all repairs, services, and inspections.
    • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for efficient record-keeping.

    Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Perform safety inspections and address any concerns promptly.

    Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with other mechanics and team members to prioritize and complete tasks.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and fleet managers regarding the status of repairs and maintenance.

    Parts Management:

    • Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure timely repairs.
    • Order and procure necessary parts while maintaining cost-effective practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
    • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and maintenance management systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    • Valid Driver's License with a sufficiently clean record to be added to the company's insurance.

    Education and Certifications:

    • Vocational or technical training in automotive technology.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
    • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
