    Who We Are Mattress Factory is a contemporary art museum on the Northside of Pittsburgh, founded in 1977. We feature site-specific installations created by artists in residence from around the world.

    *This is a hybrid position with a requirement of a minimum one day in the office. *Cover letter, along with resume is required *Deadline to submit application is Monday, August 12 at 5pm.

    Preferred Requirements

    Passionate about art and artist and excited to share that passion with others through various forms of interpersonal communications.

    Interested in gaining experience in a non-profit arts setting, specifically in digital marketing which includes market research, press outreach, social media management, content creation, campaign analysis, and general administrative support.

    Strong writers and communicators who are highly detail oriented.

    Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, platforms.

    Proficiency in a CMS platform (ex: WordPress), email and social management software (ex: Buffer or Mailchimp) is a plus.

    Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics, and Google Search Console is a plus.

    Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field.

    Your Role

    Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, web, SEO/SEM, and social media advertising.

    Monitor and manage social media platforms, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.

    Assist in the cultivation and analysis of marketing campaign performance data and prepare reports with actionable insights for marketing-related projects.

    Collaborate with various museum departments to design and execute marketing for events, exhibitions, membership, and educational programming.

    Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and maintaining marketing materials inventory along with other miscellaneous duties as required.
