CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an individual to support the National Guard Bureau J8. The analyst will participate in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes primarily in support of the program and budget phases. He or she will assist in preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, and project deliverables.
TASKS INCLUDE:
- Enabling NGB J8 functions in support of National Guard Bureau, Service, and DoD PPBE processes
- Contributing to and interpreting strategic analysis and assessments of DoD and Service PPBE material.
- Supporting NGB-J8 in its role as the PPBE subject matter expert for the NGB Joint Staff and NGB leadership.
- Supporting review, development and assessment of strategic documents.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizen
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- Must possess proven analytical and strong organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task across concurrent initiatives
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Must be able to travel
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Certified Defense Financial Manager
- Proficiency and understanding of USAF PPBE processes
- Proficiency in DOD tasking systems
Required Experience
- Three to six years of experience working within the senior defense organizations in the Pentagon (Services, Reserve Components, Joint Staff, National Guard Bureau Joint Staff and OSD)
- Three to six years of experience in PPBE as performed by the Services, Reserve Components, Joint Staff, National Guard Bureau and OSD.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Six to 10+ years of experience working within the senior defense organizations in the Pentagon (Services, Reserve Components, Joint Staff, National Guard Bureau Joint Staff and OSD)
- Six to 10+ years of experience in PPBE as performed by the Services, Reserve Components, Joint Staff, National Guard Bureau and OSD.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Graduate of CGSC or ILE if former military officer, commensurate Professional Military Education if former military Warrant, Enlisted or Civil Service.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
