The City of Phoenix is seeking an experienced MDM Administrator to join its IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems in large-scale environments with a minimum of 5,000 user accounts. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to support both internal and external stakeholders efficiently. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring two days of on-site work per week based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the City of Phoenix’s Workspace ONE environment for 16,000+ end-user mobile devices.
Administer tenant-level and Organizational Group (OG) permissions for device enrollment.
Provide 2nd and 3rd-level technical support to department LAN Administrators and Telecom Liaisons.
Configure and manage Microsoft Intune and MDM authority administration.
Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, BASH, Python) to generate reports and optimize workflows.
Ensure compliance with ITIL and NIST standards.
Implement and support LDAP/federation authentication principles.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of mobility solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, and comparable products.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience managing an MDM platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, IBM MaaS360, or similar).
Experience supporting environments with at least 5,000 users.
Experience automating and enrolling Apple devices using the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP).
Professional experience with scripting languages such as BASH, PowerShell, or Python.
