MVP Recruitment, LLC is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for an experienced RN MDS Coordinator at an 80-bed Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center located in the Newton, MA area. This is a key role in a well-established, locally based regional senior living organization that values quality care and a collaborative work environment.
Position Overview:
As the RN MDS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of MDS assessments and care plans for our residents. You will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote the best possible outcomes for residents while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and coordinate the completion of resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and coding for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursements.
- Develop and update comprehensive care plans based on the assessment findings.
- Work closely with the Case Manager as a backup, assisting with case management duties as needed.
- Participate in the manager on duty rotation, contributing to the overall leadership and management of the center.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain the highest standards of care.

Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MDS coordination in a skilled nursing or rehab setting.
- Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0 and RAI guidelines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
