Qualifications:
MDS and PDPM experience is essential, with a strong background in the skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment.
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong regulatory knowledge of OBRA guidelines and healthcare compliance.
Leadership potential to support and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities:
MDS & PDPM Management: Perform MDS assessments and ensure the facility complies with Medicare and Medicaid billing.
Resident Assessments: Manage independent assessments, ensuring accurate clinical data capture for optimal reimbursement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinical Reimbursement Manager (Lily) and the Director of Nursing (Kelly White) to ensure comprehensive care plans.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including OBRA and CMS guidelines.
Resident Care: Help coordinate care planning processes and monitor the effectiveness of patient care.
Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
