- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced carpenter needed for a company focused on quality and integrity. In an industry that is driven by quantity we are driven by quality. We focus on commercial construction; Thus, this person must have significant previous carpenter experience. The right candidate lives in Melbourne, Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville and is willing to travel.
Carpenter Responsibilities
- Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials
- Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
- Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Ability to assemble/build scaffolding and other needed construction structure
- Ability to multitask and stay focused
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
