    Job Description

    The Primary function of the Outreach Coordinator is to serve as an advocate for Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP). The coordinator also acts as a liaison among a variety of healthcare organizations working cooperatively to promote and implement the onboarding and continued use of CRISP services. The coordinator assists in the development and maintenance of business relationships that utilize CRISP and ensure success of these initiatives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Include the following:

    · Health Information Exchange (HIE) Outreach

    · Serve as spokesperson for the organization at meetings and events.

    · Establish and maintain effective relationships with healthcare organizations.

    · Schedule, plan, and execute meetings with organizations.

    · Perform administrative duties to include delivery and receipt of onboarding documentation and assisting facilities with completing documentation.

    · Liaise with Outreach and Support teams to complete account set-up and maintenance

    · Regular local travel required

    · Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred.

    Salary and Benefits:

    Salary is commensurate with education, training and experience. This position would be a full-time, exempt FLSA status. MedChi offers health insurance, life & long-term disability insurance, flexible spending program, free parking and a 401(k) program.

MedChi has about 50 employees. Office hours are M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour paid lunch.
