    Location: Royal Oak or Southgate, Michigan

    Are you an accomplished MEP Engineering Manager with a drive for innovation and leadership? We're looking for a seasoned professional to launch and lead our new Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) department, providing high-quality engineering solutions across Michigan and Indiana

    Position Overview:

    As the MEP Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a skilled team to develop and deliver innovative MEP designs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You’ll work closely with architects and engineering professionals to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Integrate MEP services into our firm’s architectural and engineering offerings.

    Oversee MEP design projects from concept to completion, ensuring code compliance.

    Provide technical expertise across MEP disciplines and ensure projects align with client goals.

    Mentor and develop the MEP team, fostering growth and technical excellence.

    Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and drive satisfaction.

    Strategize and execute the MEP department’s growth and operational plans.

    Ideal Candidate Traits:

    Strong leadership with a focus on team empowerment.

    Collaborative mindset with multidisciplinary team experience.

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

    Qualifications:

    15+ years in mechanical or electrical engineering, with MEP management experience.

    B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, PE license in Michigan, and licensure eligibility in Ohio and Indiana.

    Proven experience leading MEP teams and mentoring staff.
