The MEP Superintendent position will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality control, and trade contractor and supplier coordination. The MEP Superintendent works in conjunction with the Project Manager, leading the project team in the field. The position is directly responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing coordination and construction delivery. They plan and ensure the coordination of construction jobs and are responsible for supervising the construction project. They ensure that the quality of work and materials is upheld and that the budget is followed as planned; ensure that the workers are implementing what is on the construction drawings and specifications; monitor the workers and the progress of the project.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all MEP Project Logistics.
- Implement project schedules and coordinate with entire construction teams.
- Ensure the budget is followed.
- Attend OAC meetings and communicate project progress, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Assists with PreCon/Estimating phase of the project.
- Direct Field Personnel in accordance with the project plan and schedule.
- Ensure both the health and safety plans are understood and implemented throughout the project team.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, daily reports, budgets, progress updates, and other project-related information.
- Remain involved with preconstruction and close-out processes.
- Coordinate punch list items and procedures.
- Keeping detailed daily records of MEP trade contractors' and work progress.
- Daily communication with the Project Manager.
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Review and interpret plans, specs, and other technical documents.

Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of relevant construction experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field, or 8-10+ years experience in this role
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication skills
- Has a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
