    Job Description

    Leeding Builders Group/AECOM is seeking experienced MEP Construction Superintendent with high rise construction Superintendent experience in New York City for our iconic construction projects.

    Job Description:

    • Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
    • Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
    • May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
    • Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
    • Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS plus 6 years of MEP experience in high rise construction projects OR AA/AS and 8 years of MEP experience OR High School Diploma and 10 years of MEP experience in high rise construction projects and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 6 years of progressive experience in construction MEP from a large General Contractor (GC) in the vertical construction market as a superintendent.
    • Project experience to include high rise commercial, residential and/or hospitality.
    • Trade experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
    • Experience overseeing construction projects with multiple sub-contracted trades.
    • Ability to interact with clients as well as construction management.
    • NYC DOB certifcation.
    • OSHA certification(s).
    • Experience with construction documentation, construction management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
