Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and qualified individuals to join our team as Mental Health Professionals (MHP) and Mental Health Specialists (MHS). In these roles, you will work with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and provide a wide range of support services. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
For MHP (Mental Health Professional):
Provide individual and group counseling services to clients dealing with mental health, substance use, trauma, and other life challenges.
Conduct mental health assessments and intake interviews.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
Utilize evidence-based practices to support client progress and recovery.
Provide crisis intervention and case management services.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations.
Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development activities.
For MHS (Mental Health Specialist):
Assist Mental Health Professionals in the delivery of mental health services, including facilitating group therapy, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients.
Support clients in daily activities, life skills, and community reintegration as part of a treatment plan.
Maintain documentation on client progress, incidents, and interventions.
Provide crisis support and intervention when necessary.
Engage in regular team meetings and collaborate with MHPs and other staff to ensure quality care.
Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling and organizing client appointments.
Qualifications:
For MHP (Mental Health Professional) / MHS (Mental Health Specialist):
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or sociology.
Strong understanding of mental health issues, treatment strategies, and evidence-based practices.
Experience working with individuals in crisis or with complex mental health needs is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, non-judgmental, and client-focused approach.
For MHS (Mental Health Specialist):
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field, Additional Degree for Bachelor level positions: Rehabilitation services, special education, early childhood education, secondary education, family and consumer sciences, criminal justice, and human growth and development..
Prior experience in a mental health or social services setting preferred.
Basic knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and assist with client support tasks.
