Public accounting firm hiring for a full-time bookkeeper. We are an energetic and fast paced 35 year firm ! The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multitask and handle numerous clients and deadlines. This position requires organization and extreme attention to detail. We are an office of 8, willingness to work in a team environment is a must.
Our open position is for full time employment (M-F), not contract (contract bookkeepers should NOT apply). Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills are a must!
General duties will include: Quickbooks Desktop & Online
Data Entry
Reconciliations
General Journal Entries
Financial Statement Preparation
Payroll Processing
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Sales Tax Filing
Time & Billing Quickbooks - For our firm
Light admin duties
We service clients in various industries. This position will handle multiple clients with complicated bookkeeping requirements & structures.
Requirements:
MINIMUM 4 years prior bookkeeping experience to include A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements
MINIMUM 4 years payroll experience
MINIMUM 4 years QuickBooks experience (desktop and online)
Must have a firm understanding of GAAP rules & financial reporting
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have reliable transportation and live within 30 miles of our location
