    Job Description

    MMC IS HIRING!! WORK FROM HOME CALL CENTER POSITION - NEAR/IN ATHENS TX

    YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WORK FROM THE ATHENS LOCATION FOR THE FIRST WEEK

    • START DATES: 09/06 & 09/12

    • STARTING PAY: $14.00 English only; $15.00 Bilingual with Spanish

      • PAY INCREASE: ONCE TRAINING IS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY
    • CONVERSION: 90 Day Conversion.

      • $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS UPON CONVERSION, HEALTH/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE INSURANCE, 401K, CAREER GROWTH AND MUCH MORE!
    • WORK FROM HOME- Maximus supplies the equipment.

      • You will be required to meet work at home internet speeds, NO satellite or hotspots
    • OPERATION: (M-F) 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (must be able to work any 8-hour shift within hours)

    • PAID TRAINING: Can not miss any time during training, training is between 6-8 weeks (classroom and on the job training)

    • AFTER CLASSROOM TRAINING: Any 8-hour shift within the hours of operation

    Maximus is a 3rd party contracted vendor for the State of Texas, this project specifically is Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). Call center agents will be assisting residents of Texas who are needing information regarding benefits offered through HHSC (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, MEPD Programs).

    Our call center agents can assist with a very wide variety of calls ranging from:

    • Taking applications or renewals over the phone
    • Reporting changes to clients' cases for them (address change, change in income, household composition, etc.)
    • Completing password resets so that clients have access to their online accounts through yourtexasbenefits.com
    • Filing complaints and appeals on cases
    • Providing general information regarding processing timeframes, benefits available through HHSC, ways to apply, etc.
    • Answering case specific questions clients may have (providing child's Medicaid ID number, how much SNAP has been awarded, missing information needed on a case so that it can be completed, etc.)
