Qualifications
_ Basic Qualifications_
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Multimedia Journalist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in newsgathering, reporting and/or production
- Minimum 2 years of experience writing, producing and desktop editing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Communications or related majors and/or equivalent experience
- Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

- Excellent news judgment
- Excellent writing skills
- Anchoring experience in a local or network news environment
- Ability to investigate information to establish facts and determine truth
- Prior experience with Dalet
- Experience working with digital camera
- Working knowledge of non-linear editing
- Experience utilizing social media as a news gathering/reporting tool
- Critical thinking skills, able to understand and communicate complex issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and act as a team player
- Ability to make priority decisions under deadline
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player who can also work independently and is a self-starter
_ Additional Requirements_
- Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
