SUMMARY:
The Vikings Associate Leadership Development Program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program. Accounting & Finance : The Accounting & Finance Associate will support the operations of the Accounting & Finance department. This role will primarily support the accounts payable process and annual budgeting process, but will also gain experience in the traditional accounting and finance functions.
Analytics & Insights : This position will support the Business Strategy & Analytics (BSA) team with day-to-day analytical responsibilities. A main focus of this associate will be to gather, cleanse, and visualize different datasets. Duties will also include support for CRM, database, and research.
Archives : The Archives Associate position is a full-time position from June to May for recent graduates of a bachelor’s degree in an area related to the library sciences, archives, history, sports journalism or sports marketing. The Archives Associate will assist the Sr. Manager of Digital Assets & Archives with processing and cataloging media content and artifacts located within the Vikings Museum & Archival Collection. This position will allow the associate a unique opportunity to explore archival processing with digital assets, publications, works on paper, and three-dimensional collections of the Minnesota Vikings. Furthermore, the associate will work with various teams to explore content production, marketing, museum programming and curation.
Communications ** :** The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Communications Associate to assist with the day-to-day operation of supporting the communications team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports communications (collegiate or professional), media/journalism or public relations, an excellent attention to detail and a commitment to learn and think objectively. The individual will also be capable of working across different departments and cultivating relationships within and outside of the organization.
Consumer Insights & Strategy : This position will support the Business Strategy and Analytics team with managing strategic initiatives across the organization. The Consumer Insights and Strategy Associate will learn to ideate and activate target segments, track key performance indicators and goals for various departments and assist in research development and insight delivery. The Consumer Insights and Strategy Associate will also gain additional knowledge of organizational data strategy. This is a full-time full year position that will require a flexible schedule and likely include regular office hours, some evenings, weekends, as well as potential game-day responsibilities.
** Content Production** ** :** The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a talented individual to join the Vikings Entertainment Network (VEN) as a Content Production Associate, reporting to the Production Operations Department. The ideal candidate is a motivated, hard-working and organized content producer who is able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Some background as a producer as well as a videographer and editor are required to succeed.
Digital Marketing & Media ** :** The Digital Marketing & Media Associate will serve in a variety of capacities with respect to the team’s digital media properties, helping to deliver and optimize team content. This includes posting of content to club properties, updating website and mobile app as needed, assisting with live streaming, creating, and reviewing digital reports, assisting with push notifications, and coordinating publication efforts with editorial and digital teams. This position is NOT a part of the social media department.
** Events & Hospitality** ** :** The Events & Hospitality Associate will play a key role in planning for the logistics of both large and small-scaled events for our Season Ticket Members, Corporate Partners, Vikings Fans and all other events. This position will be responsible for supporting the Events Department with event logistics and ensuring each event aligns with our brand and internal objectives.
Experiential & Youth Marketing : The Minnesota Vikings are seeking an Experiential & Youth Marketing Associate who will assist with programs and initiatives that will develop the next generation of fans and help to grow the Vikings brand across the world. Additionally, this individual will aid in team marketing initiatives on game days, regional marketing events, and special Vikings team events. The ideal candidate will be prepared to deal with the fast-paced nature of the National Football League while becoming an effective team player within the Vikings Marketing Department.
** Feature Content** ** :** The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a talented and driven individual to join the Vikings Entertainment Network (VEN) as a Feature Content Associate, reporting to the Sr. Producer, Original Content. This individual will contribute to storytelling and access-based content production that tells the story of the team, their fans, and more. The ideal candidate is an eager and hard-working producer with a passion for high quality feature production including producing, editing, cinematography, lighting and audio.
Football Video : The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Football Video Associate to assist in all aspects of the football video department. This will include camera operation during practices & games, video editing, and setting up Audio/Visual equipment. You will help in providing the coaches and players with video for analysis and scouting; This position will be required to work most weekends and may include travel with the team. The hours will range from 30-55 hours per week depending on the time of season. This is not a broadcast/production video position.
** Game & Event Creative** ** :** The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a video and/or graphics creator that will support creative productions for all Vikings home games and special events. This position will serve as a primary contributor to the video and graphic displays at U.S. Bank Stadium, and will be a core member of the Vikings award-winning Game Presentation team.
Game & Event Entertainment: The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Game & Event Entertainment Associate that will support live entertainment productions for all Vikings home games and special events. This position will serve as the primary day-of contact for Vikings entertainment groups, operations partners, and production vendors, coordinating event day logistics to ensure a seamless experience for our partners and a world-class entertainment product for our fans. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a proactive innovator, and a detail-oriented planner, with a proven ability to thrive in a dynamic live entertainment environment.
** Graphic Design** ** :** The Graphic Design Associate will be an integral part of True North Vikings Creative, the Minnesota Vikings in-house creative team, whose primary goal is to communicate the Vikings brand vision through all mediums. The Associate will be responsible for assisting with conceptual, creative design and production of materials requested by departments across the entire Vikings organization. Requests consist of but are not limited to digital and print collateral, environmental designs for the Vikings’ various facilities, social media designs, logo/brand design and creative brainstorms. The Associate will be expected to work both home and away games to assist in creation of social media content. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task in an exciting, fast-paced environment and must be highly collaborative and open to feedback.
** Guest Experience** ** :** The Guest Experience Associate will help support a program that fosters the ultimate fan experience for all Vikings guests. Factors that contribute to the success of this role are: providing unmatched customer service to Vikings fans at various Vikings events, supporting the Guest Experience department through executing projects to enhance overall guest satisfaction and support guest communication through phone calls and email while providing world-class service. Hospitality experience is preferred over sports experience in this role.
** Partnership Activation** ** :** The Partnership Activation Associate will assist the Partnership Activation, Corporate Sales, and Special Projects teams with planning and fulfillment of the Corporate Partnership agreements throughout the season.
Premium Experience : The Premium Experience Associate will support the Premium Experience and Operations team with initiatives geared toward Premium Seating client service, appreciation and retention. This role will focus on building strong relationships with our premium clients by providing world class service and will report to the Manager of Premium Experience and Operations.
Social Impact : The Social Impact Associate is a critical position to aid the team’s connection and support to the surrounding community. Duties will focus on the support of community relations, youth & high school football, Vikings Legends, the Minnesota Vikings Foundation, and the Vikings Home Team (player and coach family programming). The primary function of the role will be to oversee all internal and external requests for support received by the Vikings organization. This will include all non-profit inquiries for autographed merchandise, sponsorships, cash donations, and other forms of requests. The position will be responsible for tracking all communications and contributions to provide regular giving reports. The position will also require work beyond normal business hours in support of game days, player initiatives, and community events.
Social Marketing & Media : The Social Media & Marketing Associate will take a hands-on community management approach to Vikings social media channels, including creation and promotion of content, and a variety of business initiatives. They will assist with real-time content creation at Vikings games and events. This person will also contribute to the external paid social strategy, effectively communicating best practices and results with relevant stakeholders. This role will work in the Vikings Entertainment Network.
Ticket Sales + Services : This position will be a key member of the Revenue Team responsible for the sales of single game tickets, Stadium Builder’s Licenses & season tickets, servicing of season ticket members and providing support to the premium and corporate partnership sales teams. This role will work primarily with the Ticket Sales, Service & Operations Team throughout the year. Additionally, this Associate will have the opportunity to shadow Premium Sales and Corporate Partnership Sales team members. Approximately halfway through the year, this role will be paired up with one senior level Revenue team member to shadow for the remainder of the program with the intention of both strengthening their knowledge of that area of the department and becoming an integral part of that team. This role will primarily report to the Vice President, Premium Sales, and will work closely with both the Director, Ticket Sales & Service and Manager, Season Ticket Member Services for day-to-day assignments and training programs. A rotation of assignments throughout the entire Revenue Team should be expected, as the Associate will complete the year-long engagement with a keen understanding of all phases of revenue development, generation, preservation, maintenance, and renewal.
