• Obtain leads and qualify prospects to build a book of business through effective means such as cold calling, emailing, networking and referrals.
• Develop, maintain and grow long term relationships with customers through continued outreach and exemplary customer service.
• Price negotiation with customers and transportation partners to maximize revenue and minimize cost.
• Make confident decisions and provide resolution to complex problems that may arise.
• Assist where needed with basic operational tasks such as responding to customer/carrier inquires, covering freight and tracking active shipments.
• Other projects as assigned by management
