Viejas is currently seeking Statistics or Marketing students for a paid internship.

The responsibilities include:

• • Data collection will take place weekly, Thursday–Sunday at assigned times
    • Each shift will be approximately 2 hours
    • Up to 8 hours will be allotted for the final project and presentation
    • Tablets and counters will be provided for the duration of the internship and must be returned at the end of the program.
    • Training will be provided
    • Must be 21+ years old to apply
    • Must pass a drug test and background check
    • Must have transportation
    • Must have/use a valid email address
    • Must be proficient with Excel or other database tools
    • Must complete a Shift Report each assigned shift
    • Must complete and present the final project
    • The final project objectives are as follows:
      • Create trend and period comparison analysis to understand growth rate
      • Calculate market share distribution
      • Develop customer personas

Required Skills Required Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.

2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.

3. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.

4. Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces. Work at heights.

5. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.

6. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
