PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER

Public Safety Dispatchers are vital for the safety of our guests and team members.  Our Security Dispatch team is trained to service the Casino, Hotel, Outlet Center, Reservation and all surrounding areas. 

Some responsibilities of a Public Safety Dispatcher are listed below:

• Screen calls for requests for police, fire, and medical emergency services
• Monitor emergency radios and dispatch calls for service
• Use a Computer Aided Dispatch system
• Monitor and prioritize officer updates, status, and location
• Monitor closed circuit TV systems of casino exterior

Be prepared for a very demanding, fast paced high output environment.  This position is full-time and may require working a schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays according to business needs.  We are looking for candidates that can display an ability to think quickly and clearly in an emergency situation and resolve problems as they arise by using available resources.

The Ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required and must be at least 21 years of age
• At least 1 year experience using a Computer Aided Dispatch system and phone switchboard
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely over the radio or telephone
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to type 35 wpm
