PRIMARY FUNCTION:
· Carry out various human resource responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas Staffing & Recruiting, On-boarding & Off-boarding, Employee Benefits and Compensation Administration, Human Resources Compliance, HRIS Payroll & Employee Maintenance, Record Keeping & Retention, Employee & Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Training & Development
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resource Policies & Procedures. Labor laws, and Government Regulations.
· Responsible for up-dating the HRIS-Payroll system and provide support to system users in the organization which includes:
o Adding, Updating and Deleting system users
o Performs mass changes to the system
o Correcting data errors to maintain system integrity
o Audit, Identify and Resolve system related problems
· Performs Benefits Administration duties including but not limited to communicating benefit information to employees, change reporting, and approving invoices for payment to all vendors.
· Maintain Human Resource Information System, Benefit Administration System and hard copy employee records
· Communicate relevant employee and payroll changes to payroll administrator
· Administer unemployment & workers compensation claims and maintain related files
· Administer MK Denial Database
· Facilitates and/or conducts the on-boarding process for new hires for the Warren payroll
· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Assists in the administration of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmation Action programs
· Maintains the administration of safety and employee service award programs
· Performs other human resource related functions as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· A Bachelor Degree in Business and/or Human Resources
· Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resource Management
· Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Experience with Paycor HR-Payroll system administration preferred.
· Works well with internal and external customers
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong interpersonal communications skills and presentation skills
· Ability to understand and interpret financial reports related to Human Resources
· Advocates for a strong HR presence throughout the organization
