Medical Social Worker

We are seeking a medical social worker to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing a safe, therapeutic, and independent living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Assess and provide care plans for adults and children with developmental disabilities in the community.

Provide support for adults and children with developmental disabilities as needed.

Participate in the planning of activities for individuals and groups in the community.

Provide assistance with activities of daily living, health care, and other services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community.

Participate in case conferences as needed.

Maintain accurate records of services provided.

Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding individuals who receive services from you.

Participate in staff meetings and participate in staff development programs as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills: ·Knowledge of health care billing procedures preferred, but not required. ·Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, but not required. ·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ·Ability to work cooperatively with others within the organization as well as outside the organization. ·Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in completing tasks. ·Ability to work outdoors in all conditions including inclement weather conditions such as inclement weather conditions, outdoor activities, etc...
