About the Organization:
Join a large non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community near Middletown, OH. The Nursing Home Administrator will oversee the operations of a large Skilled Nursing Center as well as a beautiful Assisted Living Community.
Role Overview:
As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will partner with the Executive Director to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. Responsibilities include overseeing various departments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and leading quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member of the Leadership Team.
- Engage in Master Planning for the Community.
- Select, supervise, and develop a high-caliber staff.
- Foster a dynamic team environment aligned with our mission.
- Lead and facilitate the Quality Assurance process.
- Monitor and report on quality indicators and develop improvement plans.
- Ensure operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Uphold Residents' Rights.
- Participate in corporate teams to share best practices.
- Represent the organization in the local community.
Qualifications:
- Passion for serving older adults.
- Ability to handle stress related to working with ill, disabled, or elderly persons.
- Change Agent with strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Health/Long-Term Administration, Business, Gerontology, or related field preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
- Current Nursing Home Administrator License.
- At least two years of Long Term Care Administrator experience required.
