Our client is hiring a first shift Machine Builder!

Responsibilities of the Machine Builder

• Be responsible for the welding, fabrication, assembly and wiring for new and retrofitted machinery.
• Lead the electrical aspects for the building of new large scale machinery such as servo drive integration, schematic validation and PLC installations into the panel.
• Serve as a contributor for machine qualifications and run-offs.
• Build the electrical controls panel including sensor installation, terminal block installation and wiring, relays, etc.
• Assist with wiring of the terminal blocks if necessary.
• Integrate electrical machine guarding if required.

Requirements of the Machine Builder

• High School graduate
• 1 or more years of experience using hand tools and especially electrical hand tools such as voltmeters.
• At least a rudimentary knowledge of electrical schematics
• PLC programming is a plus but not required

Compensation for the Machine Builder

The annual starting salary for this position will be $25.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour based on experience.
