Machine Operator - Finishing Department
Pay: $19-21/hr.
3rd Shift: Sun-Thu (11pm to 7am)
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance of a hoist; up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands
Job Details:
- Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals.
- Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.
- Interpret and understand written information, (orders, SOP’s, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
- Palletization, (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
- Bagging of finished rolls.
- Quality checks slit material
- Lay flat/measurement of slit web
- Print quality/print defects
- Roll/web tension and integrity
- Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
- Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
- Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
- Spot and determine visual defects.
- Cut out defects and splice together good material.
- Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet press daily goal and schedule needs.
- SOP’s may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
