    Job Title:Operator (support)

    Pay Rate:  $16.00

    Shifts Hours are 4pm-12:30am normal hours. Overtime stays until 2:30am and is available most nights from Monday to Thursday. Overtime Saturday is also often available 

    Essential Expectations:                  

    Reports to the workstation on time at the beginning of the shift and after every break; ready to start work. Maintains required efficiency by staying focused and on task.                                           

    With training follows all safety procedures which include; Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and proper wearing of the company uniform.          

    With training:Develops a knowledge of cycle times and establishes a rhythm that will yield the highest efficiency.Performs quality checks & records results at specified intervals

    Communicates with Team Leader regarding issues that affect safety, productivity, or quality

    Maintains required production efficiency by keeping all robots in motion

    Ensures finished product is properly packed to prevent damage to parts

    Applies correct product label & placement on proper container

    Accurately Records all downtime & scrap

    Keeps the equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition                                 

    Weld Cell Operations:

    Sets small metal parts into jigs and pushes a button to set the robot in motion. With training must learn to run 4 jigs simultaneously. 

    Stamping Parts Packing Operations:

    Collects parts from conveyor and packs into proper container

    Maintains required production efficiency by keeping the press running & quickly managing tote changes 

    The employee is regularly required to stand, bend, walk, lift, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  

    Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. This requires wearing a company provided uniform and the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed work shoes, bump cap, gloves, and sleeves. Loose fitting jewelry and clothing are not permitted. For safety reasons, hair arrangements that prevent the wearing of a bump cap cannot be accommodated.                 

    Operator is primarily responsible for assisting manufacturing operations mainly in the areas of welding, stamping, and quality check as needed.  Assignment and equipment may change each day and for periods throughout the day, depending on operational needs.
