Position Details:

· 3rd shift, 10pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday with OT on weekends as required

· $32.50 per hour with $1.00 shift premium

· $2.00 per hour additional if you have Journeyman Card

· This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

· Union Facility - Member of UAW local 2000

Job Summary:

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
• Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
• Participate in an annual Tool Purchase Program
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
• Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
• Removes and replaces worn or broken parts

Required experience:_

• Working on large metal stamping presses (200-3000 ton)
• Working with robotic welding machines (Fanuc pedestal welders)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working with steel, iron, aluminum, and other various metals
• Journeyman Card preferred
