    Machinist
    Location:
    Huntsville, SC

    Compensation:

    • $28.85 - $37.21 per hour (based on experience)
    • $2,000 sign-on bonus

    Shift Schedule:

    • Monday - Thursday: 3 PM - 1 AM
    • Friday: 3 PM - 11 PM
    • Rotating shifts every other week

    Qualifications:

    • Experience:

      • Minimum 5 years of experience working with manual lathes, mills, and grinders.
      • Strong working knowledge of all types of CNC equipment.
      • Prior experience in assembly or fabrication work using blueprints.
    • Education:

      • Technical degree in Machine Shop (preferred).
    • Skills:

      • Proficient in G-code or conversational programming.
      • Ability to set up machines and create fixtures for individual parts.
      • Knowledge of speeds and feeds for different materials and tooling.
      • Skilled in reading standard and metric blueprints.
      • Proficiency in basic math and geometry.
      • Experience with programming software (Esprit or MasterCam preferred).
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Tools:

      • Proficient in using machine shop measuring instruments: micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, scales, tape measures, etc.

    Work Expectations:

    • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
    • Ability to move between machines or job assignments based on workload shifts.
    • Commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
    • Maintain communication and documentation to ensure continuity between shifts.

    Duties:

    • Operate and program CNC mills.
    • Set up machines and make fixtures for individual parts.
    • Perform quality checks on parts using appropriate measuring tools.
    • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to ensure seamless operations.
