Job Description

Main Line Classical Academy, a small, academically rigorous private school in Bryn Mawr PA, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic assistant teacher for the 2021-22 academic year.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with children grades K-6 and will balance effectively warmth and discipline.  Duties include carline, lunch, and recess supervision; assisting in some of the classrooms; reading to younger students out-loud during storytime; making storytime-based arts and crafts projects with the younger grades; and substituting when lead teachers are absent.  We are also interested in candidates who have expertise and interest in computers/IT and administrative work.

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, M-F

Compensation: $22/hour.
