    Position Duties:

    The selected Candidate should be able to perform the following duties when called upon:

    Coordinates with maintenance programs management regularly to ensure needs are met for maintenance operations and develops solutions when problems arise.

    Serves as a liaison between Maintenance programs team and other departments to ensure the smooth coordination of projects and to track and forecast labor, equipment, and material needs to perform operations.

    Assists with the development, and review, of the maintenance operating and capital budgets. Represents the Maintenance Department at executive capital plan meetings.

    Assists with creation of materials, training, and implementation of new programs introduced to the Maintenance Department.

    Assist with planning and organizing the Maintenance Fleet unit operations and staff functions including organization of work assignments and review of work product.

    Assists with the equipment disposal process including the identification of surplus or obsolete equipment. Makes recommendations for the maintenance, disposal and/or replacement of fleet.

    Assists with the equipment acquisition process including developing specifications for new equipment, accepting delivery of new equipment and distributing equipment to field locations.

    Assists with the processing and receipt of new equipment for the PTC to ensure compliance with specifications and completion of required paperwork.

    Monitors the requirements of federal and state legislation concerning the operation of vehicles and equipment.

    Assists with evaluating existing, new, and experimental equipment.

    Uses situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.

    Performs related duties as assigned.
