    Job Description: Maintenance Assistant

    As a Maintenance Assistant at GlenOaks Senior Living Campus, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and upkeep of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and functionality of our campus.

    Duties:

    • Conducting routine inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues
    • Performing basic repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances
    • Assisting in the upkeep of grounds, including landscaping and snow removal
    • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
    • Supporting facility renovations and construction projects as needed
    • Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
    • Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance is a plus
    • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment
    • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
