    1st Shift 7am - 3pm

    Position Summary: Under the direction of the Plant Manager the Maintenance Clerk is responsible for performing activities and coordinate maintenance supplies utilizing computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)

    Responsibilities/Duties:
    This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time:
    • Using the computerized maintenance management system, input and coordinate stores, work orders, spare parts inventories, etc.
    • Maintain inventory levels of perishable parts for both maintenance and production.
    • Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
    • Purchase MRO supplies and negotiate with various vendors.
    • Implement material control system as part of the CMMS with input from the maintenance and production managers and supervisors.
    • Organize & coordinate spare parts inventories.
    • Coordinate & purchase components to perform PM and work ticket tasks.
    · Is conscientious, and follows all plant Quality Teams’ requirements
    · Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)
    · Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures (5S) i.e. production floor, shipping & receiving office and warehouse as needed
    · Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English
    · Perform other duties as assigned or required

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, Etc:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in purchasing or material control is required.
    • Experienced in MQ1 CMMS is preferred.
    · Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

    Physical Requirements:
    · Must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
    · Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and climb in order to work on equipment.
    · Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to work
