Maintenance Coordinator - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 90k/year - Commerce, CA

• Our client, a Plastics Films Manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Commerce, CA.
• In this role, the Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for development, documentation and implementation of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other employees at all levels to ensure information is available and documented as part of the PM
• Partner with engineering team on additions, deletions of modifications to PM procedures as changes to plant configuration dictate
• Monitor and analyze PM reports, work orders and technician feedback to optimize effective and efficient PM procedures, planning and scheduling
• Coordinate with Purchasing Manager for Min/Max items, procurement issues and shipment of spare parts and supplies
• Organize and schedule specialized training or seminars to enhance the overall ability of the department
• Coordinate between shifts and act as the central point of contact for mechanical/electrical PM issues
• Ensure PM activities are consistently and concisely documented/filed
• Initiate and distribute PM status reports to assist in the prioritization of resources and personnel
• Coordinate all facility mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities
• Plan and schedule mechanical and electrical PM’s
• Maintain all plans, procedures, MOPs, SOPs and all other documentation necessary for safe and proper performance of preventive maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
• Background in maintenance preferred

Compensation:

• Base salary to 90k/year
